bbowser Posted February 18 Posted February 18 The Admiral was the top of Opel's pre-war model range. Most of the 6404 produced between 1938 and 1939 were requisitioned and used as personal transport for senior officers of the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe, more than 2000 were open-top cabriolets. A very well engineered kit from the Ukraine. I've never built an armor kits but I think they would be like this one. Separate pieces for all the interior door and window cranks, multi-piece frame, tiny engine parts all well molded. I've built several of ICM's Model T kits but this is the first "late model". I think it came out reasonably well, comments welcome as always. 7
Belugawrx Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Nice job on that Bruce ! Great paint...ICM puts out some really nice stuff. Cheers
89AKurt Posted February 19 Posted February 19 ICM does make nice kits. I've finished the 1:35 Mercedes G4, and have their 1:24 scale on the Shelf Of Doom. You spent some time with Bare Metal foil, looks good!
happy grumpy Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Nice to see one built. Rare subject and beautiful car.
Rattlecan Dan Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Sure captures that Limo for the era feel. Nice work!
