After 4 days of roasting, the temps cooled and it's 70 and cloudy here in the Metro Boston area. Tuesday was the most brutal at 103 degrees but my AC worked great. It's taking a well deserved break now.

It’s hot everywhere now I can believe how Chicago is!   When we movesd here 1980 June 30 the 100 degree temps started and ran thru September records fell no air on buses or high school. At 10 am it was a hundred degrees everyday. I will never forget that year…

I wouldn't wear flannel in 90-100 degree temperatures.  😄

I was a teen throughout the '90s, and believe me, those flannel shirts still got worn!   B)

It rained late Wednesday into early Thursday, the high was 73 but still sticky.

I'm close to a major highway and a piece of pavement on the express lanes buckled on Wednesday, it was fixed yesterday.

Today is overcast and 63, the weekend should be tolerable.

74F, 88% humidity now (8:15 AM), forecast high 89 with popup T-storms after 2:00 PM.

Going for an early hike/walk, see if I can make some rehab progress on my left hip.

But first 2 more cups of coffee.  :D

Wish I got a PIC of it but a local Park has an electronic sign up and some of the lights are out. Says they are "hiring ark workers". I guess you need to see Noah.😁

This is traditionally when our "monsoon" season (some Arizonians hate that word, it's just rain following a dust storm, which they are trying to call something else) starts.  The World's Oldest Rodeo is around the Forth of July, some years gully washer, others fire restrictions like this year.  So I washed my car, and did another coat of "polish", top down taunting Mother Nature.  I'm serious, just when I took this picture, a distant thunder, only one I heard.

Got some drops, we would say it was about 2", between drops.  Then I parked inside the Shipping Container.  Then it stopped, if you don't like the weather wait a few minutes.

Looking up.

At least you got something in the sky up there. Down here in this side of the city, 116°F, but with the humidity up a tic to maybe 12%-ish. Sorta was a thundercloud way off to the east, entertaining idea if it headed this direction and remained intact, but now we're just getting wind gusts .....

Yesterday was a brutal 93 with 89% humidity. I was power washing my deck, mostly in the shade. I quit around 3 when I ran out of shade. Pool breaks helped. I hand-watered my patio pots.

We had a big t-storm cone through around 1 AM that scared the cat. Everything got a good soaking.

Today is 72 at 6 AM... back to power washing while the sun is hiding.

Been hot and humid the last few days..was at an outdoor concert Saturday night in Toledo, very uncomfortable to be outside in a crowd... like 85 and very humid.  Got a bit of rain yesterday, going to get more today.

I remember also seeing a fun sign where some of the letters were not lit up. Also no pics but the store was Pet Supplies Plus but the “Pet Supp” was out and it just said Lies Plus.

A thunderstorm is moving through my area at the moment. A Boston weatherman says it'll cause the dew point to drop but the temps will still remain quite warm well into this upcoming July 4th weekend.

Third day of over 100 Deg heat. Supposed to cool down to 98 for the Fourth, and be back to 102-104 by  Monday.

I am running the A/C for 10-11 hours a day. 11am-10pm.

Yesterday topped off at 84, got my deck power washing done.

Big time thunder and rain off and on all last night, still raining. The plants have all taken a quantum leap recently.

74 right now with a RH of 96%.
