Painted the body back approx 2017

Decided recently to push this one to the finish line

Front bumper/grill. Rear bumper, Tail lights bezels and fender turn signal indicators. As well as Tires and wheels are from the Revell 1959 Retractable kit

Paint is  Krylon I believe.  And is tough to get the color to show correctly in pictures . SO,,, I took a bunch. Color is supposed to be Geranium Or at least close enough for me . Even though it is most certainly a pinkish coral color in person

Interior is mostly hand painted  via free hand

Feels good to get this one out of the box and in the case

Nice old Ford. The colours look great in the sun shine. Your windshield repair looks great. The Revell parts seem to fit very well.. Cool old cruiser.

That turned out sweet. What was your method for doing the emblems?

BMF first. Then paint over top.

Dip a fine tip Q tip in lacquer thinner to clean the paint off top face

Beautiful paint color combination and the accurate looking colorful interior that Ford offered. Clean looking body trim.

Really good looking 59 and great color choice! I have owned a light blue and white 2dht Galaxie over 30 years and if I would ever change the color it would be Geranium. I try to find my self restoration AMT kit to build a model of my own car but no luck so far.
