Falcon Ranchero Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Finally got one after waiting nearly four years to get one. Ordered this for $26; a very reasonable price for a curbside, which was one of the reasons I never got the kit earlier because I didn't want to spend $43 on a kit with no engine so I am quite pleased to have got this one now. Inspired by the '59 Imperial in the 2003 movie, Secondhand Lions, though it is a two-door not a four-door I did keep in mind the colour scheme from the movie car. All I need now is a '59 Cadillac two-door hardtop and I'll have the big three in luxury for 1959 since I have in addition to this Imperial the near impossible to find 1959 Lincoln. The tires on this Imperial are blackwall on both sides, the set from my AMT '57 Chevy that I didn't use on that car cause I wanted whitewalls for that one. 13
karbuildr Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Very nice build, both of them. I like the color you chose and the license plate is very cool. 1
Kit Basher Posted April 14 Posted April 14 They both look great. Really nicely built. Love them big ol' barges. 1 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Did a really nice job on them both. Unusual to see the Imperial without the whitewalls. 1
