This is exactly the same process as the easy radiator cap idea. Only this time I used tamiya thin cement to “weld” a 0.16” wide strip of 0.040” Evergreen to a piece of 0.080” rod. Slice off a sliver and Voila! Add a tiny stub of 0.040” or 0.060” for a window crank.

I have always built mine from scratch but no more!  This is a great idea and method, and I will be using it for all of my future builds.  Thank you.
