I had a WIP on this build probably 10 years ago. But last week I finally opened the box and saw what needed doing and did it. I need to paint one more panel of underhood insulation, but Then it is done.

Great kit that has been built here a great many times. Just one in a flock of many. The BMF made me a better applicator. It made me sit down and really get into it. I had a few instances of tearing it off, saying a few choice words, but then getting right back to it. Between the boo-boos and what's on there I'll wager half a sheet used during the entire thing.

MCG PE sheet, carpeting, custom mixed interior paint and a few odd wires round it out. I see that the antennae is missing. Looks like I'll have to make one. The grill is especially nice.

So after all this time here it is.

Beautiful looking paint finish and chrome foil trim. I'm also a big fan of this kit and the subject. The engine has a great OEM look along with the chassis detailing.

What a gorgeous Starliner Bob! Your BMF work is A+ as well as all detailing in the interior, engine bay and chassis. The PE grill and little star dohickies on the rear roof supports really kicks the realism up a notch on your build. This AMT kit is truly one of the best 1/25 auto kits out there.

I am pleased that you dig it enough to take the time out of your day to impart such fine words. It took a while but it got there.

Gracias Amigo

Holy smokes, that looks stunning. I love the 60/61 Starliners. You rocked this one. I wish we could get a '61 Starliner.

These were massive cars in their day, possibly the widest body ever made by Ford.

But you killed it, very nicely done!
