You don't have to David, I just feel that when I give it a gloss black base and then shoot a couple light coats of the chrome on it lets the black help out with the chrome effect.

Even though I'm not ready to really start this build I had to do a little mock-up since I painted the wheels & tires.  Can't wait to get started on this one.

The weather has been so Hot and Muggy that I can't get any painting done but I did get a little done.  I painted some parts red and you can see from the pics that it's no good.  I'll need to wait for this Heat wave to leave the area and repaint those parts.  I did find some lens for the headlights in the parts box that look like they will fit.

I was able to catch a window where the humidity dropped below 60% so I shot some 2k clear on a few parts and I got the body in primer.  Not a lot done but the weather just does not want to cooperate.

I got some of the Nailhead assembled and I now have a rolling chassis.

Thanks.  I have not built the 1/25 scale but I can take pics of the resin parts.  Is that what your asking?

Like most of us, I'm not prepared to pay for an original kit, so I might fire up the printer for one of these as well!

I believe this was the 1/25 scale that I first printed out.

Just got the 2k clear shot on the Uncertain T body.  I'm happy with the outcome.  I'll let this set for a few day then mask it off and shoot the top Matt Black.

Well...not sure what happened but the belt is lined up with the alternator but not the water pump.  Now I'm thinking call it an electric water pump and let the crank pulley run the alternator only.

I had to jack the radiator up 1/8" as the fan blade was setting to high.  The parts box headlight lens have been shaved down to fit the headlight buckets and I'm liking how they are fitting.  Also I got the distributor wired.
