This kit has been around a good while and it's a very nice rendition of this vehicle. It doesn't have a lot of detail out of the box, but some wiring, hoses, paint detail, etc., really makes it come alive. There were no fit issues, everything went together nicely. In 1970, the GSX was available in only two colors, Glacier White and Saturn Yellow. However, I couldn't resist a 1971 color called Lime Mist Poly. I used Testors Lacquer Lime Ice as a stand-in and it's pretty darn close. I also used Tamiya white primer and Light Sand for the nonstandard interior color. The most difficult part was masking and painting the semi gloss black on the hood. As an aside, this kit was originally a Monogram kit and is 1/24 scale.

Paint, decal and engine compartment work all look great as does the Light Sand interior with the contrasting arm rests. I also like to paint the mufflers gold from time to time.

Beautiful plaint finish and color. Like the OEM style stripes and engine detailing.

Nice looking 70 Buick GSX.  Love the body color.  The business end looks pretty snazzy too.
