KWT Posted June 16 Posted June 16 This is the Revellogram '71 Hemi Cuda that I'm sure we've all built once or twice. I wanted to give it a custom feel this time around and practice a little on some ideas I had floating around my brain. Paint is Tamiya Metallic Gray. I lowered the stance a little bit. I chose to go with a modern "blackout" trim package to keep the emblems, but also fit the custom look I was going for. Still have to find a front plate I dig. This is not the exact look I was going for, but after I had to save the paint, I chose to keep it this way. I'm pretty stoked with how it came out. Learned a little along the way, which is always a good thing. Gonna see if I can use what I learned moving on to other kits... and a revisit to this one. As always, thanks for looking... On to the next... 14
ncbuckeye67 Posted June 16 Posted June 16 I think it looks awesome! I'm usually not a fan of de-chroming a car, but it seems to suit a muscle car a lot more than a fifties classic. I really like the look of that (it's my favorite year of the Cuda). 1
AMT68 Posted June 16 Posted June 16 What a beauty! I like the monochromatic bumpers particularly in that shade of gray. 1
Dragonhawk1066 Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Looks excellent! Kind of close to the Cuda in Furious 7 I just watched on Saturday, although that one was a '70. 1

I was kinda wanting to try my hands at it, but it may be a lil outta my reach. 1
galaxyg Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Very very nice, you've certainly made me look at both this car and this kit in a new way. Are those wheels with the kit or from elsewhere? 1
