WheelsAreEverything Posted June 25 Posted June 25 Some pics of my recently finished AMT Corvair. Also, my first model contribution to the forum after my initial intro. This was built for the "LOWVAIRS" display at the SoCal Open a couple months ago. It started as the typical hardtop model and my original plan was to do an up-top convertible. I started to realize that finding and modifying a top to fit was not gonna happen in time, so top-down it was. It's a curbside build with minimal mods besides the obvious lowering. Made a tiny shifter for the dash to represent an automatic for easy cruising. 😄 Wheels are from Lowrider Model Car Parts. Starwires on the passenger side and Supremes on the driver side. 25 1
