There might be another thread of this but I couldn't find it. So, what else do you like to build? In the summer months I hate to be inside so I don't do much modeling. I do like working on old cars, gardening with my wife and building stuff out of old wood, leftover scraps, old deck boards and pallets. Here are a some things I've built, lets see some of yours!

I'll have to get some new pics, as they're all on a usb stick somewhere, but I rebuild guitars. I'll find some cheap beat up guitar on Ebay or Kijiji, then gut it, strip it, rebuild and hot rod it.

I've also done a couple of kit guitars, which were a lot of fun.

And during Covid, I tore apart and rebuilt our deck, and added a pergola. And it's still standing.

Definitely get some pics on here of those guitars Dan. We would all love to see them for sure! And the deck & pergola too, I'm always looking for new ideas to steal.😉

I really like the Chicken Coop!

Too Bad you are so far away from Cali.

Thanks Alan, I built that for a pregnant stray cat to live in with her kittens. BAD IDEA, now we have 4 cats because nobody would take a kitten. Of course they don't live in that house anymore, they're in MY house.

Here is a bar I built from some live edge wood I got for $4 each. I have a bunch more, I just haven't figured out what to do with it yet.

And this is an old 46 Ford Doodlebug my father & I are building. It was a dump truck with a 10 foot body on it. We took that off and junked it, then moved the rear up for a shorter wheelbase. We changed the engine because the old one was locked up, got the transmission unstuck and last week we wired it up. I'm going over now to see if we can make it run today. Wish me luck, I think I'm gonna need it!🤪

Not really a "build", but I do all sorts of things besides building models.  My most recent project was to service my GF's Mantle clock.

It is a Seth Thomas Linton 1E clock made in December of 1950.  It has a nice chime. Not something one hears in people's homes anymore. It was a flea market find back in 2012.  It did not work. I took it apart and found a broken gear. I fixed it and my GF has been using it ever since.  Power cord was also replaced. Every couple of years I remove the movement and lubricate it.  This time I did a complete disassembly, cleaning and lubrication.

Here are some photos. I wish I took photos of when I had the movement totally disassembled.
