Nitro330 Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Actually finished this one in April but just getting around to posting pics. This was inspired by the actual car "Nova X" as seen at SEMA. Started with everyone's favorite donor kit, the AMT 66 Nova Pro Street. Bumpers smoothed and narrowed to line up with body. Removed drip rails, wipers and filled in the cowl vent. Headlight tubs molded-in. Scratch built items include; front air dam, rear diffuser, shocks, radiator cover, side-exit exhaust (solder), roll cage (also solder), door panels, center console and dashboard face. Side glass and rear window made from clear styrene. Resin cowl hood. LSX motor from Iceman Collections. Paints are ScaleFinishes Audi Nardo Gray and House of Kolor Cinder Red lacquers with Acme 2K clear. A challenging build, but a lot of fun and came out with the stance and look I was after. A couple pics when I was putting the interior together. 17
