Just a few minor details left, but took pics because today is such a nice day outside. This is an old Revell Kit from 1977, took a little TLC get stuff to fit, one thing that was really disappointing about this kit is the split body with an upper and lower half...which creates unsightly seams. I give props to those who properly fix this by cutting the lower body section from the pan, then attach it to the upper body section and fill the seams...but I just didn't have it in me to put that much work into this kit. I 'made' some custom 'benz wheels' from my parts stash, and other than that pretty much box stock. enjoy~

EDIT: I added a couple pics with the front bumper, and an engine shot~

Vince...having done this kit and performed the modification you listed....I think you did an outstanding job.  Your door fit is amazing.  Paint looks great and I don't see any of that seam in the pictures.  Are you going to put the bumpers on or just leave them off ?

Really nice work, Vince.  I appreciate the fact that you used the vintage Revell kit and not the usual Tamiya.  Your mods and paint look great and I don't see any sign of the body seam.

Great Job!

Thank you, I looked at your car before I started mine, and can appreciate all the work you put into it. It did take a bit of filing on the doors and body seams to get them nicer...maybe thats why I got lazy and didnt cut up the body  XD. I decided to 'pin' the front bumper, so holes have been drilled and glue is drying, (it seemed like the bumper really had no support if I just glued it to the body as the kit suggested). It does look 'sportier' without the bumper, but they look nice on the car.
