BKF Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) Hello everyone. Here is my recently finished Revell 1981 Camaro Z28 painted in MCW 2084 Dark blue met. Interior is MCW Medium and Dark Blue interior semi gloss lacquer. Body is cleared with decanted Testors Extreme lacquer. The Testors Clear didn't do so well out the can and I didn't do much better decanting it. Although the test spoon I did the day before did great so I definitely need more practice airbrushing clear. I've got a few cans of the Testors so I'm going to try and use it up. I 3d printed the wheels and tires which I believe were from ZForcemodelworx and also experimented with designing and printing the arm rest. The glass had a decent twist in it and didn't fit very well so I glued it with ca glue of which I didn't like doing. I did get a small bit on the back glass but did the best I could to remove it. I also lowered the front end but left the rear as is. Edited 14 hours ago by BKF 7
Dragline Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago This is very close to the car Pam Babineau picked me up in when she decided it was time her and I got to know one another. I seriously wish I had a picture. You guys would know why I got in immediately. Great build! 3
STU111 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago That is a really sweet looking Camaro. I’m doing a 79 Z28 at the moment in much the same colour scheme. Hope mine turns out as sharp as yours. 👍🏻 1
