Hi there,

here is my take on this old kit. Had a lot of problems using the kit's olds decals. The substitutes from Le Mans Decals did not work because they were way out of scale. I complained about all of this already in Rich's thread, so here we go with the images.

Very good job.  I have a Jaguar XJR14 from Lemans Miniatures 1/24 that I started but have not finished.  These are not cheap kits and you did this kit justice !

Outstanding Job Thomas. Really like it.  How did you eventually solve your decal dilemma?

Thanks Rich. I don't think I really solved it but I managed to find a compromise. I saved the remaining kit's decals using Microscale Liquid Decal Film and printed the ones that got lost in the process in the first place.

Thanks! Which one do you have, the Bud Light or the Silk Cut livery? I managed to get my hands on a Silk Cut a few weeks ago. A really detailed kit and it's also pre-painted.

It is the Silk Cut but not prepainted.

The prepainted kit seems to be some kind of special edition. It has some additional letters to the LMM article no. also (124003KP). So far I have seen it only in the shop where I bought it (link below). The paintjob on it is not bad, but not good enough either. Also the shade of purple is not correct IMHO. I will probably sand it slightly and spray the correct Zero Paints color over it. And I will do the 1991 Le Mans version, so one with the full Silk Cut tobacco livery.

That looks just like mine but it was not prepainted.  Interesting and I need to finish mine.  I just finished a Provence Moulage 1/43 of the same car.
