Hi all I’m Kat, I live in the UK.

im really interested in building hot rods, really want to get the Ford Model A kit from Revell and customise it.

i find kits for the older Ford models not readily available here in the UK which sucks !

I came across this forum and magazine whilst doing some research!

America really does have all the cool stuff !

would love to hear of any instagram accounts to follow and or any other advice please 🙏🏻

Welcome Kat!

While this forum is a type of social media, it is in an old-school format which has been around before other types of social media were even around.  It is not Facebook, X, Instagram or others, but you can still learn lots of things here, with a large membership of experienced modelers.  I'm not on any of the other versions of social media, and I find this forum more than adequate for my needs.  That is not to say that other members aren't on other social media sites, but to me this forum works best.

I know what you mean about model availability here, I get serious MSE* when I see pictures of what's available at Hobby Lobby.

I've got kits from lots of different places, model shops, collectors fairs, a local vintage toy dealer, antique centre, ebay... I rarely seek out a specific kit but buy what comes along.
