Here are photos of 1:24 scale 'Truck Yard - Section 1', that I am currently working on. Not totally done yet, but adding smaller details and weathering as I go along. So far so good. Hope you all like the results so far. Still needs some cleaning up here and there from the grass fibers. Section two of the diorama will start soon.

Charles, just amazing!  I love your consistency in weathering every individual piece.  Not one part sticks out as not fitting in with the rest if that makes sense.  I’ve seen dioramas at shows where there is a piece or two that just stand out as “too clean” for example or out of scale.  If I ever did a diorama I know some of my items would be inconsistent.
Again this is a work of art.  Happy building. -Mark

Appreciate the detailed observation. Big thank you. Although, there are a few items that are not entirely weathered, due to certain impromptu scenario reasons. Like it was just placed there, or coming directly from storage or factory...etc. As long as the everyday life stories are alive, there will always be a story to justify a particular scene or theme.

Nice pictures but where's the diorama?

Amazing as always.

Like others have already said, your attention to detail, landscaping and weathering are stunning!  I’d bet there isn’t a square millimeter of your diorama that hasn’t had some attention from your weathering technique(s).  Hard to fathom the work that must go into something like this!

Much appreciated. Glad you like the results.

The overview:

Quite a lot of folks asked me for photos of the entire diorama; so here is the overview. Still have to weather certain areas and the grass a bit and add a few details. I will eventually add figures, when all the larger details are completed. I am currently working on section 2 of the diorama, which will be attached this diorama and also functions as a separate diorama at the same time.

Another of your beautiful, very realistic dioramas. It must take quite a lot of time to complete each one of them.

Always a pleasure to see your very realistic scenes.

Inspiring stuff to any builders of dioramas in any scale, including railroad and military modelers.

I do appreciate it. Thank you kindly.

Thank you. It does take time but the outcome is always a joy to see finish.
