In as much as I am very new to MCM  and it's forums, I can understand the reasoning behind separating the two. Having so much to process with the forums and maintain balance with everything else seems challenging at the least. I'm no tech wizard, but I'm sure I'll be able to follow along with upcoming changes. I only wish I would have chosen to resume model building and found this site sooner. Lots of talent and skills here.

Any chance the new place will bring the latest posts up to the top of each section?

Asking for a friend.

They already are (right below all the sticky posts).  :) Just like other forums I participate in.

Where would you suggest to place sticky posts?

they already are, or if you click unread content it will bring up everything new. to get search results in chronological order you first need to perform the search then click the box that says sort by and change its selection to date.

There are several reasons we went with Makers. The main one is confusion with an existing brand.

Dave, will our avatar and old posts and Post count stay the same?

Unless something catastrophic happens during the migration, everything will transfer over and remain as is. That includes login passwords, avatars, post counts, all content.
