My latest victim is this Lindberg 4-4-2.    Wheels are Cragers printed by forum member Zippy for me on AMT red-lines.   I added aluminum tubing for the tailpipe extensions.

Paint is Createx deep red pearl over Stynylrez gray primers.   The pictures actually show it a bit lighter red than it actually is.   Clear is Slash 2K, my first use of it.

Love a 442!!  Fantastic work man!  Mad respect for the foil work!

Thanks Michael, but I have to confess most of the chrome is actually chrome parts in the kit.

Holy smokes Buddy...the ole 442 is looking killer.  That 2k clear makes it shine like a new penny.  I'm diggin it.

The Createx paint looks great Mike as does the entire assembly. Kudos to Zippi's efforts on the wheels.

Oh man I’ve been waiting for one of these in red, I think it’s just about the best colour you could find for this Oldsmobile. What a great build, thanks for sharing 👍

Nice looking 442, I really like the staggered width wheels. I remember building (destroying) this one as a kid. Lately I've been eyeing up the AMT version at Michael's when they've got their 40% off coupon

That's a nice looking Olds Mike! I might have to look into that deep pearl red as I'm looking for a nice deep water-based metallic red.

Looks superb!  Great color choice.  I built one of these several years ago and really enjoyed it.
