Fisher61 Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Finished the '57 150 tonight. Paint is Duplicolor silver and white, engine wired and plumbed. Dressed it up a bit with wide whitewalls. This is a great kit and goes together without any trouble. Thanks for looking!
ffreak Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Thanks for sharing this beautiful build with us. It takes me back in time and looks so real. I gotta get started on my kit now. Danny
Bernard Kron Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 A stunningly beautiful build. Meticulously detailed and, as has been said, so convincigly realistic. Great color combination and beautiful foil work. Two thumbs up!!!
loudcherokee Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Very Nice! Probably one of the best build ups I've seen of this kit yet. Love the color combo. Is that a valve stem I see there on the wheels? You really went all out here. Nice work. LC
MkowaPhD Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 I've built 3 of those so far and none have turned out that nice! Does that mean I have to stop rusting mine so they are nice like that? -Mike
fordh8r Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 (edited) Very, very, very nice! Love the color and details. I thought the data plate on the generator was a particularly nice touch. Hadn't even noticed the valve stems until someone else mentioned it. Edited July 3, 2009 by fordh8r
carrucha Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Excellent job Plumber. I really like the color combo. It's the best factory stock build of this kit that I have seen. carrucha
Foxer Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 That's clean as a whistle! I especially like the paint. The metal particles/reflections look almost to scale ... very nice for a 1:1 paint.
cruz Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Very cool my friend, color choice is pretty unique but tasteful!!!
berr13 Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Great job, beautiful model. Now if only mine come out so well...
Harry P. Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Gotta agree with the crowd... that's just about as good as it gets. Very nice work!
RodneyBad Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Looks like it just rolled off the show room floor. Great work..
Fisher61 Posted July 4, 2009 Author Posted July 4, 2009 Thanks for all the kind words everyone! Here's a chassis pic I forgot to add. Thanks again, I'm glad you all liked it!
