cooltoys1 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 99% of the parts on this are original. The body is not painted, but polished plastic. The only thing i used out of the current 29 Ford Pickup is the frame rails, the originals were all gluey. The wheel backs were missing, so i opted to use Buick aluminum drums all the way around, and wired the mill. I also added the bars that hold the radiator. Hope you enjoy viewing this as much as i did building it. Jay see my Photobucket for resto pics!
nitrojunkie Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 It looks really good. This is a fine example of why molded in color is not always a bad thing. The polishing on this looks as good as paint from the pictures.Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
Harry P. Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 I agree, the body looks fantastic, as does the rest of the model. Nice work!
