george 53 Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Harry, thisns a GOOD one! It's either a REAL car or a heckava Pocher Model kit! BUT, Im gonna go with .....REAL! It's REALLY a CLOSE call! OOOOH thisns GOOD!!!!
B_rad88 Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 hey good morning fellas! WOW number #100, already? well, i am going to say real!
Foxer Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Whoo Hoo!!!! Grats on #100 Harry!! I love this little whodunnit. Is it me, or do those wheels look like they fell into a vat of plastic thinner? ...but, NOT saying how I voted!
chris coller Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Whoo Hoo!!!! Grats on #100 Harry!! I love this little whodunnit. Is it me, or do those wheels look like they fell into a vat of plastic thinner? ...but, NOT saying how I voted! Going with model on this one. The rear wheels look like they sit to far back in the wheel wells.
Harry P. Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 Is it me, or do those wheels look like they fell into a vat of plastic thinner? I'd guess that the tires are reflecting the shiny, light-colored surface that the car is sitting on, that's why they look gray instead of black. Just a guess, though...
raymanz Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 It's my 50th birthday this week so I'm feelin lucky! Gonna say REAL, because I don't think the door props would look that authentic. It's a 50/50 shot right?
ABC Auto Industry Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 For the 100th anniversary of this game, I say "model". The rear wheel looks off-kilter to me.
Foxer Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 (edited) My comment on the wheels referred to the rims..they look off center or something.. but I think it's just the light/shadows ... Could be a real or model light causing this! eheh Edited July 27, 2009 by Foxer
Joe Handley Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Real, but that left rear looks really screwed up
cosmiccadillac Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Ahh, another crappy photoshop... The front wheel was used as the back wheel too, too bad Lambo's don't have quadrasteer!
envious8420 Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Ahh, another crappy photoshop... The front wheel was used as the back wheel too, too bad Lambo's don't have quadrasteer! My thoughts exactly.
Pete J. Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 I'm going with real on this one, but there is one detail that bothers me. I can't remember if the beast has drilled rotors or not. I know the new cars do, but this is from a transition era. If I could remember, it may be the one detail that would give it away.
Joe Handley Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 For me it's the front side marker and trim (too big and well defined) and the hydrolic piston for the D/S door.
OSLRod Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 It's something about the rear wheel that doesn't look quite as straight as the front.
Zoom Zoom Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 That photo is just wrong. The front wheel was copied/pasted onto the rear tire, screwing up the perspective angle. Completely amateur "photography". Real or model, the photo ruins it.
cosmiccadillac Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 I'm not gunna say real or model, I vote "fake" because its obviously photoshopped..
FujimiLover Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I'm going with model here. It look's to me like one of Kyosho's 1/18 scale models which I believe have that door hinge.
gbdolfans Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Morning Harry, Congrats on#100!!! This is a tough one as the voting shows. I went with model as some things don't look right. Or maybe it is to early in the AM today.Have a ton of work today and needed to get up early. I had to take the time to vote on this one.
