B_rad88 Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 wow, this is a tough call! but my gut says model! so i guess i will go with that! lol!
FujimiLover Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Too many models. I'm going to go with real. Look at the leather or fabric on the seats and behind the seat where the top goes down. I've never seen a model look this good. I'm saying real with this one.

dimaxion Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 thats what this site is all about! I know this is a real this time . Look at the reflection at the top of the windshield of the dash mounted mirror . Thanx..
MrObsessive Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I see another HUGE giveaway that makes me certain of my answer! No hints until the ROM is over! HEHEHE!!
ABC Auto Industry Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 It's real. You'd have to be an expert to put keys in the ignition on a model car, unless this is one of those large-scale kits like 1/16, 1/12, or 1/6.
george 53 Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I'm goin with model on this one Harry. Probly 1/18th or larger, but still a model.
Joe Handley Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I'm going to say model, probably a Poacher of something along those lines.
Joe Handley Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 MODEL!!!!!!! Take a look at the glove box----dont look real to me. Lack of pedals too. Not to mention the flat edge on the front of the seat (even though its supposed to be tuck n roll PS May I ask ..................... What kind of mirror doesn't reflect anything??? .............. a chrome tree MODEL mirror Yup, that mirror looks like one piece of something and chrome platted, usually the glass is pretty obviously separate from the rest off the mirror assembly. Thw woodgrain and gauges just don't look "right" to me either.
Karmodeler2 Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 How about it? Real or model? I have the real thing in my garage (I'm not saying this one is not real or not a model ....or not a real model), but as Bill Geary said, I see several HUGE giveaways and it's probably not fair since I have a reference in my garage.
ricky12 Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 theres something that just says real to me . i guess we will see on friday?
VW Dave Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Can't say why exactly, but I'm feeling 'model.' Pretty sure it's a larger scale than 1/24-1/25, but a model nonetheless.
Zoom Zoom Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Very tricky there, Harry. I did play fair and voted before I found the photo. I even got it right. Dave Morton could probably best understand why I was going crazy

FujimiLover Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 If the mirror is at a certain angle, it will reflect darker images thus appearing NOT to be shiny and reflective. It look's to me like it's pointing towards the inside of the car which will be darker than outside. I'm still saying this one is real.
old-hermit Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Almost a 50/50 split in the votes. That means your pic is fooling a lot of people. I might be fooled too but I say real.
horsepower Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 MODEL!!!!!!! Take a look at the glove box----dont look real to me. Lack of pedals too. Not to mention the flat edge on the front of the seat (even though its supposed to be tuck n roll PS May I ask ..................... What kind of mirror doesn't reflect anything??? .............. a chrome tree MODEL mirror I am going to agree, there is just something that's wrong with the piping on the front of the seat, just a little to straight for real leather.
