george 53 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Gonna go with REAL on this rascal too! If it ain't, it's one HECKAVA build!!
MrObsessive Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I'm saying definitely real! I see some details that really set it apart from a model...........plastic or diecast.
disabled modeler Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Hi....im going to have to say its a model, but at first glance i wanted to say real....the reason for saying model is the tires arent squiched from the weight of the car.....thats the only reason though. very nice!!!
69*Goat Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I am going to study this one a little before I answer...... What is interesting is the fact that the reflection of the underside is blacked out........ There are also some things that scream model.
MikeMc Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 What is interesting is the fact that the reflection of the underside is blacked out........ Harry is a photoshop master............
Pete J. Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I'm going with real on this one, though there is one glitch in the photo shop work. You MoPar fans may correct me, but I don't believe there should be a radio antenna. The super-stock Dodges were all radio delete were they not?
69*Goat Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 (edited) The super-stock Dodges were all radio delete were they not? Yes they were Pete, you are correct. I have a buddy that has a 64' Polara 500 convertible, and he put the same kind of hood scoop on his car, and took the radio out of his to make it a clone.... Edited January 4, 2010 by 69*Goat
69*Goat Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 no valvestems!!! model.... The valve stems on those wheels are not in the normal place.......
george 53 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Actually, WHO said it's a Super Stock ANYTHING? Maybe the guy just put a hoodscoop on it.
Joe Handley Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Real, the hoodscoop looks way to thin to be plastic and there is slots in the tops of the window openings for glass to slide into. If it is a model, somebody did one heck of a job on it. BTW, who in their right mind keeps tires that small on the back of a car like that?!
Joe Handley Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Oh yea, it is real! I'll post why on friday!
horsepower Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Pretty close on this one, but the coin came up real!
MrObsessive Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Oh yea, it is real! I'll post why on friday! Nothing that anyone has said is the reason I voted real. It's another one of those subtle yet glaring cues that to me is a giveaway. If I'm right, I'll also state why on Friday!
Jon Cole Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 I think... it's real. Final answer. The window felts on the sides of the roof... door lock rods... perfect shadows around the wing vents. Time will tell
Stang67 Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Model with photoshop fun. I can't see under the car...Hmmm Sweet ride though.
Zoom Zoom Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 I doubt even Juha Airio could make a Dodge model look this real. Tons of clues make me certain this is real.
