The internet 'lore' on the 'corvette from hell' is that it was won in a card game and so the driver decided to just make it horrible. Latest update on the corvette is that it is in the shop to get a progear supercharger!!! The paint has changed a bit as well. Jalopnik.com has a bunch of blogs on the car.
