You should have seen it a little over a year ago.   Actually,  you couldn't see it.   It was all piled up with clutter.   Absolutely no room to work on anything.   Now I clean it up every couple of weeks so it won't end up like that again.  It's over due now.

Nice set up you have too by the way.   Looks pretty organized.

Now old prescription bottles superglued together hold the tools. My Dad's watchmaker's bench. Used to have a lot more on the floor, between actually getting them built and trading a few, the floor is now able to be walked on..................................

Thanks, I’m organized until I’m not, lol. Once I get this Mack truck done, I’ll get everything back in it’s assigned place, and start making a mess again……

I finally got my desk set up and ready to start building. I’m sure It’ll evolve as I go, but I’m organized and comfortable enough now to get going.

This small cabinet will be used for styrene and metal rod stock and other detailing supplies.

And yes, I will get this drawer organized soon, lol. It’s for tape/masking sheets and styrene and metal sheet stock. The bottom drawer has my heat gun, a hair dryer and other misc. tools that won’t be used often, I just didn’t take a picture of it.

Awesome, thanks for sharing this. ???

I’m still putting my model space together, but it’s getting there!

I can think of a few times when having a large hammer at my bench could have put the finishing touches on a model.

Some great work areas for sure! I just remodel mine at work, unfortunately I cannot take photo of the movie props, cannot take photo inside the building either. Believe me great stuff! :)
Here my workbench at home, I usually post in my treads.

mad a change yesterday(Easter Sunday) to the area I sit and work at. Also cut down the stash by selling off 9 Moebius kits, lost interest in building them. So now I reserved the 2 5" foot tables joined together for building and foiling/decals and the 6" table for detail painting. Pegboard for holding glues and sandpaper and pegboard for holding aftermarket parts, set up the parts bins in one location

Those 1966 Classic Revivals of Duesenberg, Packard, and Pierce Arrow (etc) gotta be extremely rare; and they are extremely cool. Never even knew the Packard and Pierce Arrow got revived in 1966 like the Duesenberg though I know the latter became a real car whereas the other two seem to just be model ideas. Certainly never knew they made model kits of them either.

This is it as of July 2024; though it's still the same and has been the same prior. The only constant change is the 3 models on display. I always display the latest builds in order of completion, so once one is built, the one on display on the far left goes back in its box, gets put away, and the row slides down to make way for the latest build, and so forth. Just a 3-chair table in the far back corner of a room in the basement. Has a window directly above and an electric fireplace on the far left (not visible). Wall decorated with some posters; most of them I designed graphically though the red Shelby and white shelby are some real posters and the Brady Bunch wagon and the New ford Broncos are just printed from the inter web. Build area is right under the lamp.

I know there are builders who can do far better work than I with less than either of us have.

Wow some of you guys have loads of kits stashed away. I basically have no stash. When I first started building, I guess technically my dad had a very small stash of kits. But then I built all of them. And then when I ran out of kits in that "stash" I just started buying usually one at a time and I typically build it right away. I have a large stash of built kits, but essentially zero unbuilt kits as a stash. That being said I have a few kits I got from a cousin who didn't really have the knack for building kits, that I would never build and have so far just used them for extra parts. Namely a glue-bomb '68 Corvette L88, an unbuilt 2012 Vette, an unbuilt '97 Mustang (I think it's a '97) that was missing a whole lot of things already, including the box, and a '92 Ferrari Testarossa left over from my dad's initial stash; the only one from that stash that I never built. 25 cents at a garage sale I guess he couldn't pass that up.
