Hello everyone......if any body has heard of " Jammer Cycle Products" in the early 70`s and 80`s you will know about this streamliner......it is the same streamliner that "Easyriders" magazine broke the worlds record on July 14th 1990........ for the fastest Harley Davidson motorcycle in the world.......... at a average speed of 322mph in both directions .........and I already built a replica of that liner.......... I will post pictures on July 14th in the Under Glass section of this forum as a tribute to "Easyriders" magazine since it is the 20 year reunion that it broke the record.......I have been asked so many times to post progress pictures.......so since I am building the "Jammer Cycle" liner .......I will post progress pictures........I have been working on this for 2 weeks now.........and it is just about ready for primmer ......these pictures are the first week......I will post pictures of the secound weeks work in a couple of days......questions welcome......thank`s

John,

Wow, I know this bike, I've been riding since I could drive, read all the cool chopper mags and catalogs back in the day...remember them well. You are off to a great start my friend, is this your first progress thread, never seen one before. I am almost ready to post my first bike, in about two weeks, keep up the good work John, love watching your progress. Thanks.

Thank you everyone for the interest of this build........I should have posted progress pictures of my builds before?.....but I get so caught up in the build I just want to build and not stop to take pictures......but I am so happy that you guy`s are as interested in this model as much as I am........Mike this is my first progress thread and ModelMartin yes this is a 1/12 scale build.......I started with 2- 1/12 scale Revell chopper kits I used the engines and rear tire from the kits........the engines are evolution engines that had to be totally modified to become water-cooled shovelhead engines and the rear tire had to be ground down smooth to look like a salt flat tire.......I also used the front wheel and tire from the 1/12 Revell Robin motorcycle.......everything else is scratch built......thank`s

FINALLY......

Ya see John, most of us think you use alchemy or a shrink ray to produce your scale masterpieces.

This will be informative indeed.

Crazy good scratchbuilding!!!!! Keep 'em coming! Thanks again for letting us see the magic.

Are you working from plans or do you have to try to figure out all that engineering?

OK, John, like a brick upside the head, you now have my undivided attention... ;) I love Salt-Flat racers of any kind and class, the technology and ingenuity fascinates me! Wow! Absolutely fascinating subject and wonderful execution. I've been building for over thirty years and you make me look like a rank amatuer!!! :)B);) FYI, I love these in progress shots that show HOW a specific part or system was fabricated, before everything's hidden by paint. Very educational, thank you so much for posting this. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this!!!
