charlie8575 Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 This was certainly unexpected. And a very pleasant surprise, too. Wonder what else is in store? Charlie Larkin

Chuck Kourouklis Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 That's nice; can't wait for the 1/12 2011 Camaro Z-28! Let's freakin' hope. I'll have a couple of these in the meantime, though! AWESOME! I LOVE big scale, and I'm overjoyed to see Revell/Monogram doing a new one after 20 years...
crispy Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Finally a production 2010 Camaro too. Thanks to Jim Stein for the photo. Chris

Rob Hall Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I was just talking about that in chat, about how they should do a production 2010 camaro, and there it is! Yeah, it's about time...they will probably get it out a year from now as the 2012's are coming out.. I wonder if it's a 2n1, those ground effects and front air dam aren't stock SS items.
Danno Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Finally a production 2010 Camaro too. Thanks to Jim Stein for the photo. Chris HOT DIGGITY DAWG!!!!
davyou5 Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Finally a production 2010 Camaro too. Thanks to Jim Stein for the photo. Chris I am pleased to see this one! Oh Yeah ! But while I am pleased to see this one, I just wish Revell would also finally come out with a '71 or '72 Buick Riviera 1/25 Kit.
Jared Roach Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Yeah, it's about time...they will probably get it out a year from now as the 2012's are coming out.. I wonder if it's a 2n1, those ground effects and front air dam aren't stock SS items. yea, I'm hopping they don't do it with those ground effects molded on, because I really don't like them.
Danno Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 yea, I'm hopping they don't do it with those ground effects molded on, because I really don't like them. Even if the ground effects are molded on, no prob. That's why saws were invented!
Harry P. Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 The only problem I have with the Mustang kit is that it's not big enough!
crispy Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I added Jim Steins photo's and eHobbies photos to my fotki. IF you care to look. iHobby2010 Will add more to my album as various people post them and with due recognition. Chris
Chuck Most Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 The only problem I have with the Mustang kit is that it's not big enough! Fear not! I hear that a few ex-Pocher and ex-Palmer engineers have teamed up to develop a 1:8 scale 2011 Mustang! With the brilliant engineering and fit of Pocher and the unyielding accuracy and realism of Palmer, it should be a stunner!
Chuck Kourouklis Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 ...BTW, all you replica stock fans certainly can't gripe about this beauty!! Um, psst, Mark - DON'T FORGET THE SCALE BIGOTS...
Jordan White Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Since they decided to release the new Mustang in 1/12 scale, I hope they could eventually rerelease the 1/12th '69 Camaro and Corvette!

Man, Harney's a Corvette guy from way back, so I hope everyone pardons me when I say ROGER THAT. My mind also flitted immediately to a nice 1/12 ZR-1 right after I saw that GT500... Chuck Most Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 ... I hope everyone pardons me when I say ROGER THAT. Worst case scenario is somebody tells you to Chuck off!

Dragline Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 How timely! One of our route drivers where I work just got a stripe delete dark blue 2011 GT500. I told him about the kit yesterday and he wants me to build him one. I will be taking MANY detail shots of the car. Once I have all the shots I will make them available for anyone who wishes to have them. What's really cool is that he's 61 years old. I got a ride in it yesterday. Scary fast............. Bob
Hawk312 Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Since they decided to release the new Mustang in 1/12 scale, I hope they could eventually rerelease the 1/12th '69 Camaro and Corvette! I`ve never been apathetic about the latter. I will buy whatever they re-release!! Would be nice to have either some updated street or drag options in them too, and blue and red stingers for the `vette, and Blackstripes for the Camaro.
