Hawk312 Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 My mind flitted immediately to a nice 1/12 ZR-1 right after I saw that GT500... That would be great. That plus a new 1/12 Camaro (new body style) and maybe even the new Challenger would all like awesome in a display!
The Junkman Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 What's the story with the Heinz 57 Stars and Bars Corvette in Chris B's photo album? Is that a Revell Greenwood Corvette with another decal option?
kelson Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 All i can say is WOW!,lots of great new releases that i'll be buying, now i'm sure lots of others won't be impressed but you can't make everyone happy all the time.Count me in for a couple of the 1/12 scale mustangs never would've guessed that one considering years ago Lindberg did some 1/20 scale kits and nobody seemed to like them because of the scale.
ian ashton Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 The only problem I have with the Mustang kit is that it's not big enough! That's what she said.
crispy Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 What's the story with the Heinz 57 Stars and Bars Corvette in Chris B's photo album? Is that a Revell Greenwood Corvette with another decal option? That's what I heard, re-issue with new decals. Chris

Joe Handley Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Fear not! I hear that a few ex-Pocher and ex-Palmer engineers have teamed up to develop a 1:8 scale 2011 Mustang! With the brilliant engineering and fit of Pocher and the unyielding accuracy and realism of Palmer, it should be a stunner! HAHAHAHA! I'd bet that will be a stunner
F1tommy Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 The GT500 looked great in person. Ed Sexton says they will be doing a few other new tools that we should like. Casey Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 A new 1/12 scale kit? Good. From Revell? Better... A New Mustang? Ugh. Total disappointment IMHO, but I will survive. I suppose a big scale Ford has been overdue from Revell since the Chevies have had their moment in the sun for quite a while now, and the newer Mustangs have quite a following, so it makes some sense. It will be interesting to see the price on this kit when it hits the shelves.
GrandpaMcGurk Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 I'm with Harry...if that Stang was 1/8th, oh well, such is life.
Chuck Kourouklis Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Hey, man, any time they wanna try 1/8 again in something like this, I'm there. Meantime, though, I can "settle" for this 1/12 GT500.
TheCat Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 I want one of those Camaro kits!!! I can't wait to get them. I hope that they make a 1:25 scale version of the current GT-500 mustang.
Tonioseven Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Looks like I'm gonna build another Camaro.
seanyb505 Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 In regards to the Camaro, the body kit is a dealer option. Im going to say those pieces are the optional parts.
larrygre Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 A production Camaro was a no-brainer. I hope R-M will give us a droptop as well - that convertible just looks sooooo sweet, especially in Red or Orange with those 1969 Z28-style black stripes!
