I am having issues with Photobucket..............

Anyone know what my deal is? I went to cut and paste like I did before but it doesn't work know. The changed somethings around on Photobucket and I am lost! Can anyone offer some insight on this?

they messed their format up im switching to tinypic or imgur

I had to click on my pic,then when it opened in a larger window the links are next to it and it let me copy and paste.

I just sent them some feedback in their "contact us" area. I personally don't like there new format.. but I'm wondering if facebook can host photos also and copy and past like we can in photobucket. I might have to add the tags for the img part but it will be far easier though.

Exactly....the 4th line down is a simple copy and past here!!

The only issue I had is I had to save a new link to access my account.....

They claim that the major change is a new file uploader.....

I started with Photobucket myself and moved over to Fotki, I find it a lot better and more versatile!!!

Seems like everytime I get used to something, some genius has to come along and change things. Why can't you upgrade only if you want to? Maybe I'll have to check out Fotki. Is there an easy way to move photobucket pics over to Fotki or would I have to upload everything again?

I think you will have to save each picture to your computer and then download them to Fotki.

Don't understand why you guys are ripping Photobucket. I've used it for many years and never have had the slightest problem.

do they have a bulk uploader? if so copy all your albums from photobucket.

I generally let the dust settle and the bucket works well for me but then I still use Explorer not Mozilla...w/o problems.... B)

I haven't been having any problems with it either, but I'm not a big fan of the changes, too. The biggest change I've found so far I hate is before the update, you could lock the codes under the pic in the album instead of having to mouse over the pic and have them drop down. Now with the update, it appears they did away with that option, unless I just haven't found the correct place to change it back.

I just used it for the first time since the change and it worked fine. I'm happy with it. Just have to get used to it. My only complaint is the blue line on your last copied image is gone and I might get lost Other than that I'm good!

Dave go down to the lower right side and look where it says "all albums" click there and see if all your pics are there.....I have to do this to see all of mine....

I haven't tried to upload images since they changed....again, but it looks more confusing than the last time they changed things! And all that flash advertising gives my computer[which is old and sucks!]fits! I'll try it when I have something new to add,if it don't work I'm kicking this thing right off the desk! Windows ME, what garbage!

I managed to upload photos for my Comet build, it took 4 times as long as it used to, not user friendly at all! Why is it when something works, someone feels the need to screw with it?

The biggest thing I can see is that, after logging in and I get the contents of just one specific album, I have to make one extra step to go to "My Home" to access my various different albums. It's pretty much the same after that. One click on the IMG field of an uploaded image and it's automatically copied.

I have no idea why they needed to change something that was working fine. Maybe there are other upgrades that aren't visible to the user.
