stevehansen Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I thought I would make some subtle improvement to the Z06. SO, I split the front grill and rear window, enlarged the rear brake cooling ducts, added front brake ducts, modified the front Z06 hood area duct, Carbon fiber accents on engine and interior, blacked out taillights/sidemarkers and Enzo wheels. Painted it House of color Kandy Oriental Blue
Build Up Boy Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 WOW! The BOYS up in Flint, MI should be looking at this model! I own a 63 SWC and would just love to add one of these to the stable. GREAT work and much more imaginative than the GM design studio personal. I'd like to see more shots of this car. Marty
chris coller Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I like this car! Some subtle upgrades and details and you got a winner. Nice build.
Bill Eh? Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Flawless paint and a beautiful shade of blue. The carbon fibre treatment under the hood and on the interior accents really adds to the impact. Very nicely done!!
george 53 Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I agree, that design IS a good lookin one! The subtle mods REALLY work on it, and I like the split window treatment!!! VERY nice conversion . Too bad GM didn't see this!!!
Bernard Kron Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Superb design enhancements add character to the original. And ,great model building to boot. Bravo!

slapshot Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 That's just to pretty for words. Did you shoot the blue over BC02 Orion silver & reduce it one to one? Sorry for all the questions. I'm going to be using HOK for the first time on my next project.
davyou5 Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Mmm Hmmm, now that is one nice looking Vett, great Job! .

TheCat Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 I love what you've done to this Z06. Especially the rear window split and engine detail. Curious... How did you slip the rear window and cut the window to fit? Again, a beautiful build!!! Five stars to you my friend on this build!!!

robertw Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 A quick and easy way to add a split window look to a newer Corvette, good thinking. Well done model, I like it! robw
Peter Lombardo Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Very well done....great color and the "split" looks like it belongs there. Very, very nice and subtle.
muns Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Beautiful build, the mods are just enough that it dosn't take away from the overall car, keep it coming.
