David Thibodeau Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Well guys, another T/A to add to the list. This one is going to the same home as the 70 Challenger I built is. Ken Epsman in California. He owns the 1:1 cars......
SoCalMark Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Killer job. He'll be proud to have it and I bet he displays it with the 1:1 car.
GTmike400 Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Its a shame the wonderful exhaust system is hidden below the car. Give him a mirror to go with it.
Wildrice Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 That is one beautiful AMC. Too many details to even comment on.
Mack_Mechanic Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 WOW!!! Outstanding job. I really love the engine and exhaust.I agree with GTMike send a mirror with it,it would be a shame to hide that exhaust.
Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 David, man you got skills!!! That is an awesome model...great job.
burysem Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 I'm not a big race car fan, but.... WOW!!!!! That is a beaut!! What kit is that body from or is it resin? BB
Zoom Zoom Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 That's incredible. Models of T/A cars like this are too scarce! I'd have a hard time giving that one up, even if I was holding the payment for it
Stingray69 Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 I'm pretty much speechless!! Your attention to detail is amazing!
Ken Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I have a Javelin kit just waiting for this treatment. WE NEED DETAILS MAN!!!!!! I am guess that most of the kit is from aftermarket sources, but I would love to know which ones. Great job and I too recomend the mirror!!!!!!
John Bowman Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Well guys, another T/A to add to the list. This one is going to the same home as the 70 Challenger I built is. Ken Epsman in California. He owns the 1:1 cars...... It is a beautiful build. I have that kit myself but have always been reluctant t build it is a '74, not the '71/'72 that was actually raced. The rear end is all wrong for a '71. I have been hoping to find a '71/'72 body to use as I have the '72 rear bumper and tailites already. I believe Ken's car is also a '71 or '72 from the photos I have found on line.
RancheroSteve Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Fantastic - best looking Trans Am Javelin build I've ever seen!
