Randy D Posted March 5, 2011 Author Posted March 5, 2011 small update, The Lindbeerg kit that supplied the semi wheels and tires needs some work on the wheels. Scratched up some drum brake detail and used a cut down paint bottle top for the finned hubs. Driveshaft and needed to build a gearbox to line everything up....

I am really going to hate seeing this project come to an end, don't get me wrong I want to see the finished product but to be blown away everytime I open your page ........Keep it coming.

steve7119 Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Great work! Good looking project. Where did you get the brass stock for the front spring? I have a few spings to make and the narrowest pieces I have found are a quarter inch wide.

Using the radiator casting from the '37 Ford kit but it is blank on the front side. Probably will see thru whatever I come up with for a nose on this thing so made up a rock protector screen.. As noted earlier this will be paint as I go on the frame....

tylersloan Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 WOW very nice work you have inspired me i just learned how to solder within the last year . never had a need until i built a turbo 95 saturn its funny because i have been a welder for 8 years now . may i ask how much money the brass cost you to build the chassis and all the other components ? not wanting to be rude so sorry if it upsets you just need to know what im looking at as far as cost thank you
