diymirage Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 nver realy cared much for this day, never celebrated it back home and i dont intend to di it here iether but it is a great time to pick on my coworker who has the stature of a leprechaun traditonally, each saint patricks day i hide in between the racks waiting for him to pass by when the does i jump out behind him, grab him by the collar and yell "i caught you....now hand over that pot of gold, leprechaun" anyways, here are ALL my green models
Joe Handley Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Well, it's ten years old now, but it's Green! This was a fun build for the Birmingham Classic "Now and Then" theme in 2001. This is my interpretation of what Art Arfons would have been running in 2001, if he could have used an Allison V-12! Good Lord, what would that sound like on 100% nitro
Alyn Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I'm a little lean on the green, other than green with envy over some of these builds. My one and only
59 Impala Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Sorry guys, I forgot that I had one more and here it is. I just had to post it for all the good guys on here. Dan

Joe Handley Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 (edited) Sorry guys, I forgot that I had one more and here it is. I just had to post it for all the good guys on here. Dan You know, that little car wouldn't look bad if the front end piece looked more like the front of the "Black Beauty" Or maybe "The Car" Or "Werecar Bender" OK, that is weird, just as I was posting that pic of "The Car", a train running through town started blowing it's horn at a road grade crossing Edited March 18, 2011 by Joe Handley
ChrisPflug Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 (edited) A couple of green machines- Monte in vintage Dupli-Color and '69 440 Dart Edited March 18, 2011 by ChrisPflug

Patrick2005 Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I hope it works. Very close to my heart. Hey what year Duster is that? My friend restored a 73 for his senior project. Was a slant 6 auto and he converted it to a 360 4 speed and painted it Sub-lime Green
Green Duster Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 It's a 73- 340 auto, 8 3/4 rear with 3.91 gears. Yes it is fast. 12.93 in the quarter.
seeker589 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 How about a Green Monster? Great model! Love it! I met Art and Dusty years ago and we discussed this very car. It was really cool talking to a real racing innovator.
Tony T Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Some nice "Green" here! Here's my late contribution...'69 Baldwin-Motion Camaro by Revell
