diymirage Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 the detail on these builds is amazing mine dont look anywhere like those but maybe i have a few that can make up for it with raw power ford focus with a blown 572 big block 71 hemi cuda with a log manifold intake from the 396 firepower engine pontiac grand prix, nascar converted into a lowerider with a 302 cross barrel camaro mill 70 challenger with a hemi, nothing to special but the first engine i wired
styromaniac Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Awesome mills! Yours are especially well made Mr.Obsessive..I know..I've seen'em close up. Your D-Jag is one of my all time favorites.

Jairus Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 (edited) Lot of cool stuff so far. Mike, never get tired of seeing your avatar. Edited April 9, 2011 by Jairus
Sixties Sam Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 I assume you mean favorite engine bay from our own builds. My real favorites are about a hundred done by others on this forum. Anyway, here's my best effort, a 66 Mustang with a resin 6 banger from Kitchen Table Rasin dropped in. The six left so much room in there, I had to add details to fill up the space! Sam
W-409 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 My best finished engine bay is this one, '60 Impala 348" BBC. If I look my projects, these engines are looking pretty good. First one is '65 Stepside 283" SBC. Also '57 Black Widow's engine is pretty good... And the last one is Burnout Bird Pontiac FC.
RodneyBad Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Well, if they are pics of our own fav Engine bays.
Danno Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Hands down, no question about it, no contest! My favorite engine bay of all time absolutely has to be the Stardust Jet Funny Car built by John Teresi!!!!! Although several of his other masterpieces are right up there, particularly his land speed record motorcycles! John's engines/engine compartments are pure inspiration!!!
gunner Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 This is my first one, A McLaren M8D that I did some scratch building on the battery and water catch bottle.
oldscool Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 This is one of my favorite threads because engines are my favorite part of a kit to build. gus
