Harry P. Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 How about this one? Real or model? The answer: REAL!
george 53 Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 REALLY LOUSY pic this week Harry. It's not clear enough to make out the details. Imma go wiff MODEL.
Mr Core Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 According to those suspiciously flat rims, I am inclined to say model Not sure though, or am I??
MikeMc Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 REALLY LOUSY pic this week Harry. It's not clear enough to make out the details. Imma go wiff MODEL. No doubt it's real Really lousy magnified image of the real deal.... ;)
SuperStockAndy Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 It looks like a blow-up balloon or something!!! Errrr.... Those shiny tires and untextured rims make me think model.
highway Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Those shiny tires and untextured rims make me think model. Not only that, but the lack of any antennas for telemetry and team communtications. As an F1 fan, if this turns out to be real, I'll eat my Ferrari hat!!
sjordan2 Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 In spite of the wheels and tires, the detail says Real to me.
MikeMc Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Not only that, but the lack of any antennas for telemetry and team communtications. As an F1 fan, if this turns out to be real, I'll eat my Ferrari hat!! Hope its tasty.....the antenna is behind the #1.....with the blur the white doesn't show well, look at the dzus up front....
s10chevypu Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Tires and decals make it look like a model. so I say model
Pete J. Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Harry for this one I have to ask the definition of a model. I suspect that this is a display version of the car. They are not operational race cars and are taken to events for display only. They do not have 90% of the stuff that would make the car work so in a sense they are 1:1 models. Often they are windtunnel models. So, my question. If that were true, would that be a model or real for this forum? Pete
Joe Handley Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Model, but those wheels would be correct for the real thing and Tamiya has those decorated disks on it's F1 R/C version of the Ferrari's too
warra48 Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Lousy picture, and difficult to see the necessary details, but I say: MODEL

So I will assume for this that it is real not a model or prototype
