slantasaurus Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 R&R Resins also does/did both 63 Dodge and Plymouth wagons, although they aren't 100% correct. How has everyone missed the 06 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 ???
Casey Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 R&R Resins also does/did both 63 Dodge and Plymouth wagons, although they aren't 100% correct. How has everyone missed the 06 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 ??? The cut-off was '79/'80 in the O.P.
Erik Smith Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 Did you try the Model Station Wagon Database? http://www.lastsummer.com/wagon/dbase.html Dunno of anything similar for four doors (or Fordors, as Ford would have you believe...). Wow. This is a great link. Thanks.
imatt88 Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Mark, I would love to have a '64 Bonny wagon. Who made it? R&R? Why not include the Johan Ambulance/Hearse? I believe R&R also made some Pontiac Ambulances as well. Early '60's?
slantasaurus Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 The cut-off was '79/'80 in the O.P. Yeah, but he has the Lindberg Charger listed....
Erik Smith Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 Yeah, but he has the Lindberg Charger listed.... My personal preference is 60 to 80 although I did list a few newer ones as well.
Chuck Most Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 As far as four doors go, ALL of AMT's Lincoln Continental kits from '61 until '69 were four door. As far as I know, there aren't any 2-door Lincoln kits besides the '58-60 annuals and the Revell MK VII pro street.
Maindrian Pace Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 The '70 LTD promo/Motor City car. -MJS
Chuck Most Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Mike- is that LTD missing the passenger side a-post, or are my eyes playing tricks?
Eshaver Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Erick, I see you somehow omitted both the A M T Brookwood 1960 Chevrolet wagon, also a promo and a good selling Craftsman kit . A M T offered both the 1961 and a 1962 Buick Special wagon too. In addition A M T also somehow Butchered the Buick tool to do the 1963 Chevrolet Nova . P M C also did a 1953 and a 1954 Plymouth Belvedere wagon even thought they were 2drs . These kits were sold as Friction assembled kits too. Now this one was / is a resin copy of that old .98c kit ............. Ed Shaver
Kris Morgan Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Jo-Han 62 Rambler Taxi (snap kit) Motor City resin 67? Fury wagon
Maindrian Pace Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Mike- is that LTD missing the passenger side a-post, or are my eyes playing tricks? It is missing, Chuck. That is a promo, and it was made from a defective batch of plastic - it's extremely brittle. It has cracks in several places, a screw post is broken out, and it's just too delicate to mess with, so it's a collection filler. Shame, because it's a good looking car. -Mike
Erik Smith Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 Motor City resin 67? Fury wagon Saw that on the website - very cool. Any idea when it will be available?
Maindrian Pace Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Just remembered the 1960 Comet 4dr sedan, and the 1965-ish AMC Ambassador 4dr sedan. -MJS
Sixties Sam Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Revell made a 4 door Plymouth Valiant in 1962, along with the 4 door Dart mentioned above, and AMT made the first Valiant model a 4 door in 1960.

Erik Smith Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 Erick, I see you somehow omitted ... Ed Shaver Thanks Ed - ya, there are some unintended omissions at this point due to my ignorance. I am actually getting a master list spreadsheet and sorting by year, make, etc. Thanks for the additional info!

Art Anderson Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I have been compiling a mental list of four door car and wagon kits - mainly from 1960 to 1979 or 80. I would love to get it in print. If this topic has been tackled before and you have a link, let me know. Otherwise, please help with any kits (resin or plastic) and pictures (if you have them).
