Got to see the Lonestar today (the model). One of the fellows at the club had built it and brought it in. I asked if he had ever seen one on the road. He said never. I look for this truck everytime I go out on the road, and have never seen one. Everyone that I talk to that knows about the truck has never seen one. What's up with that? I'm sure they exist. Are they rare birds? Have you seen one?

I've only seen a few myself. I think they are just starting to show up in fleets and stuff.

Out here in the sticks, I've seen maybe 15 of them since they came out. Which kind of suprises me- you don't see too many $75k + rigs out around here, but they do seem to be replacing the Freightliner Columbia as the #1 'luxury rigs' in my area.

I have seen about 3 of them on us 30 when I had to go to Ft.Wayne ind. I my opinon they are kinda ugly but retro is in style these days

Living in Charlotte, NC and having 2 major shipping highways intersect (I85 and I77).....AND being the home of many Nascar teams....I've seen about 10 mostly in the past few months

Yeah I see them all the time up here in ND. But I94 is a major route to Eastern and Western Seaboard. Iagree with it looking ugly. They hit the Art Deco Grille Look but is out of place on a new rig and does not resemble the 38 IH they were trying to emulate.

I've seen a handful. The styling doesn't really appeal to me, but I also don't think it photographs well. I find it looks much better in person, I recently saw a red day cab pulling a fladbed and found it a rather attractive truck.

I live just south of Atlanta and there are quite a few industrial parks near me. I always look when passing through there. I use the interstate quite a bit as well. Still looking.

Roush switched to them after Ford sold Volvo, saw them on I-80 coming from Sacramento down to Infineon.

At most, 5 on the highway that appeared to be owner operated. Then 3 more at the dealer. It looks too pretty to be a truck lol.

I've seen one on I-20 with "Mesilla Valley Transport" badges. I see their trucks all the time in central TX. They have always been International supporters but I never thought they would start buying the Lone Star that quick. They have lots and lots of Pro Stars.

Ya'll remember in 85-86 when KW came out with the T-600? Everybody I knew turned their nose up at them! My Grandfather, who drove some of the first trucks, cussed about them for months!

This past September, my wife and I went on an 7,200 mile , 28 day road trip covering 18 different states out west. During the entire trip, I saw three - one in KS on I-70, one in CA on I-5 south of LA, one on I-90 just across the MN/WI state line in WI, and one parked one a dealer's lot outside Chicago. Definitely rare.
