Cool Hand Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Another Amt kit converted to a curbside Lowrider. Not much to explain about it as its built exactly the same style as the 72 Nova I posted recently.
Cool Hand Posted November 30, 2011 Author Posted November 30, 2011 (edited) Couple more pics. Like I said built same way and style as the Nova Will post some more outdoor pics of the Chevelle soon Edited November 30, 2011 by Cool Hand
tjones87 Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 not my style...but that is one CLEAN build...same with the Nova...nice work man
Dr. Cranky Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Oh, I love them. Man, the shiny black makes them look low and mean. I like that look, this is how you propagate your own style. Keep up the great work.
Greg Pugh Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Holy cow! That Chevelle is no easy task. Excellent results there!
mikelo Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 reminds me of some Steve Stanford renderings. Very nice & clean. Mike
W-409 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Yeah, that Nova was very amazing, and this one is really amazing too! Great to see '69 Chevelle, and especially when it's Something else. I like the paintjob, really great shine. Wheels and tires are very beautiful too. Great job with it, can't wait to see those outside pictures.
crazyjim Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 The black makes it sinister looking. I like the SHINY :)
surfjunke Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Beautiful builds. Very clean work & great finishes.

Dr. Cranky Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Luke, tell me a bit more about the wheels. How did you paint the black, or are they inserts?
Cool Hand Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 Doc the rims are 2 piece, like you said centre insert and outer trim ring. I brushed painted the inserts with Tamiya X-1 black.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Where did you find them? Are they Hoppin' Hydros?
Cool Hand Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 I got them from Scale Dreams. They are Pegasus # 1109 Dz's chrome
Cool Hand Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 Long over due, manage to get some outdoor shots of this build too.
