Buick grille from Revell Merc kit. Frenched lights. Bumpers from new Revell '48 Ford kit. Paint is Duplicolor silver and metallic blue. Tried to creat kind of an IN SCALE lace paint job by "stippling" black paint with a stubby brush onto the silver. All buried under Testors Wet Look clear and polished. Caddy wheel covers from the long defunct SJS Resin.

Very nice looking Hudson. Nice combo on the paint. I like the engine colors too. Cool.

Do Buick grills look good on everything?

Very Nice! I am working on a Hudson also, you have done a great job. Color combo, and I was not sure what to do with my engine compartment, but now you have given me some ideas. BRAVO!

Cool Custom. I like that color combo, and paintjob is very cool. I like that grille too, it makes this look really different, but I think, it's a good thing. Engine detailing looks beautiful too, gray ignition wires look factory made. Thanks for sharing this amazing Hudson.

Really nice, I especially like the "under hood" work, I have a feeling that this car is going to be difficult to customize, unlike the '49 Mercury. I have the kit and look at the body from time to time and just can't get a good feel for what to do to it. I really like what you did here, not overdone, very classy and tasteful. The two tone paint sets it off nicely. Another of your typical well done super clean mild customs that always seem very believable.

Wow!

super gloss finish and the stippled black does look like a lace pattern.

I particularly like the interior and engine details. I like the licencew plate, too!

Inspriational.....
