Bartster Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Nice from top to pavement, front to rear! Awesome rod. Attaboy to ya!
Scott Colmer Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I enjoyed watching this one come together. The end result a VERY nice!. Tucking the rear tires was a smart move. Scott
Sixties Sam Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Nice hot rod! It's good to see something a little different from the 32 Fords. Great paint job! Sam
W-409 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 This turned out very nice, and I have to say, it looks amazing with that front clip of the body too (as I said in WIP topic, that it could be maybe removed, and only grille would be used). Paintjob is very nice, shiny and so smooth, stance looks good and finishing is done very cleanly, there are no mistakes at all. Those lights could be maybe in bit different place, maybe bit higher, because now, when watching it from the side, lights can't be seen, and it looks like there are no lights. Anyway, from the front view, it looks just perfect. Really nice build, thanks for sharing it.
Guest Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 That is a cool looking little hot rod James! I was thinking about doing the top on my '32 five window like you have done yours and now that I have seen what it looks like,I'm definitely going to do it! Nice work!
peter31a Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Sweet! Love the colour and the 'in your face' grill! Job well done sir.
James2 Posted February 4, 2012 Author Posted February 4, 2012 Thanks Peter, I was lucky to find that grill on feebay!
James2 Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Just a couple of other pix.... Thanks for the interest.
Terry Sumner Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Very nice! Are those wheels and tires from the Revell 32 Highboy?
James2 Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Thanks, they are from that kit and the engine also, just added the blower.
jbwelda Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 very inspirational! at first i couldnt even see the willys in there but it is very powerful once you realize what youre looking at! very sweet!
Darin Bastedo Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I keep coming back to this. I love it! I wish I had thought of this. I may just have to do my own version of this. It looks like a fun build.
rmvw guy Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Nice clean build and very different. I like the color and nice paint job. Great reaction from the Forum also. Congradulations!
Bernard Kron Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Came out great. It has a very modern vibe to it without doing the neo-billet thing. The color and paint finish are spectacular, and of course the basic concept is pretty fresh, too. Big thumbzupz, J2!
Qwit Pushin Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Gorgeous! Nice take on an old classic, well done!
CaptainAhab Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 That thing looks mean! The grill is killer. Nice work
