shucky
Dr. Cranky ... this is one of the coolest paint jobs that I've seen yet. Very creative and far out (literally!) Awesome job Virgil.
Dr. Cranky
Thank you, everyone. Today the clear goes on, so stay tuned in for more . . . I really appreciate the support. Rob, if I painted 1:1 vehicles I would have already lost my mind!

The clear is drying and next up is some buffing and polishing. Stay tuned in for more.

Joe Handley
If you're going to call it the Bong van, you may need to pull a scale steam engine apart for the smoker unit
Dr. Cranky
LOL, I think after you see what it looks like now it might just be better to call it the SPACE CADET VAN or something like that. Stay tuned in for some more progress.
Dr. Cranky
Here's some progress. This one fought me here and there but I think it turned out pretty well, including all the last minute details which include ghosted skulls on the sides (they appear as you move around it in the sun, although I don't think the pictures will show it . . .) Now that it's in clear and buffed, I can turn my attention to the chassis and the rest of the build. I'd like to see this one finished soon. Enjoy: Different set of wheels . . . I still like the Duo Tones from Hoppin' Hydros . . .

The best paint job is always the NEXT. Here's a video I hope some of this bling shows through better:
