This started out from the Revell/Monogram 1931 Ford Model A Woody kit...

Nice car, nothing to say about it. But my idea was to make a Model A, little more on the "high end" side... Like if Ford a that time decide to compete with prestige cars.

I need to admit, that I really enjoyed build it, and I like how it come out.

Here the pics...

Did you remember the tools? I found a nice place for them...

And behind the seat there is a fire extinguisher and a little storage, kind of a trunk.

Very nice! I get the feeling of a Cord more than a Ford. Would make a nice speedster. I like the tool kit, very nice detailing all around. Thanks for sharing.

I absolutely love it!

I'm guessing you used the Packard or Auburn for the rear of the body? Also, what colors did you use?

Probably one of the nicest executions of a custom I've seen in a very nice time.

Thank you guys! :)

@Charlie, for the top part, I used only the cowl from the kit, all the rest is scratch built. The bottom the fenders are from the kit, I scratch built the fender on the inside and the rear cover.

Here a picture toke during the work on the body. And before cut the doors...
