Guest Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Just finished this. I used the seats from the Dodge Deora kit, and parts box tires, and the PE guage panel from Revell's 69 Daytona, and guage decals. Hope you like it.
cobraman Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Very nice buggy. Are those the stock headlights ? They seem a little large but maybe it's me. Good job !
rmvw guy Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Neat job and very cool! The redline tires would have been very appropriate back in the day. Nice metalflake also!
GeeBee Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Very nice work, love the paint and extra detail you've put into the build, I really must get one of these to put in the stash ....
crazyjim Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Oh boy am I lovin' the SHINY :) . What paint did you use, Lee? I picked up a pair of paddle wheel tires for the buggy in my stash, but don't know when I'll be getting to it.
Badluck 13 Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Paint is perfect for that lil' Dubb, dash is awesome, and the li' air sucker in the back detailed just right....you mention that you hope we like it...I don't,I love it!!
Wayne Buck Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 (edited) It's just terrible.... ...that Beautiful buggy isn't sitting on my shelf!! Wowee! I'm really diggin' the paint, details and super clean build quality! Awesome Job!! Edit: Just wanted to reiterate, as I look at the pics again... That paint really looks KILLER! Also, love the look of the redline tires on the front and the choice of rims. Edited May 27, 2012 by Wayne Buck
Guest Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 (edited) Thanks guys for all the kind comments. I used Rustoleum's Metallic line, 7251 Cobalt Blue Metallic. The headlights are kit headlights, as well as the rims. Edited May 27, 2012 by midnightprowler
Bugace Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Nice clean build. I really look forward to building one my self.
