This model was built in a short time around 15 years ago using the old MPC kit with a few modifications.

I love the look of the T70s and simply added my own livery as well as thinning out the rear fender air inlets, finishing the rear outlets (behind the rear fenders, plated wire roll bar, tubing exhaust ends, and adding the spoiler to the rear deck. Now-a-days, I'd have added a lot more engine detail, but I like to keep my old models in the state they were initially built as a record of my hobby.

Paint was basecoat/clearcoat and details were typically Testors and Humbrol.

Nice job!I have heard that these kits are quite a challenge to build!.

Actually, I recall this kit being quite basic and simple.....but it does require some tweaking of the rear fender air intakes and outlets to be more accurate. Still, I remember it as being a 'quick build'.

Wonderful color choices, very clean build, the Lolas of this era were very slick. Have you ever seen the Donahue-Penske Lola?

Never saw an MPC kit of this car. What scale is it? I have a couple of the old IMC kits, because the Lola's are my FAVORITE race cars of all!!! Especially the coupes! I have a very rare coupe from R&D Uniques that was ALOT easier to build than the old IMC Spyder kits, but it looks JUST as nice when finished! You did a rightious job on that little Lola, and remember, "Whatever Lola WANTS.....:D;)

Superb build! I remember these at Silverstone in their era but moreso now as they are popular in both open and closed versions in classic sports car racing at most circuits including Le Mans.
