RickArt Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 (edited) Hi all, I started this project 2 years ago. There was a lot of scratchbuilding and new thinking of construct a correct in scale super detailed frame. Because the front axle are exposed and very visible on a car without fenders, I put a little bit extra attention to the detail. I just dump some pics. and hope the insperation will return one day. W-409 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Very Good Job with the frame! I'd really like to see more, your work is superb.
rmvw guy Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 This is some pretty extreme work, hope you can see it through to the end. I love to see these kind of builds, way beyond where I will ever go. How long would it take to finish something like this? I will be watching for updates, thanks for sharing.
futurattraction Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 There are a handful of extremely gifted builders on this forum and you're one of them, Rick. I always love seeing your work. You are so meticulous in every aspect of your builds. This one is no exception. I truly appreciate everything about it. Hand fabbing and casting your own spindle-mounting plates is a great touch. The color of the chassis and running gear is a standout.
Terry Sumner Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 DANNNNNNNNNNGGGGG!!!! That is just some superbly clean and precise modeling!
Terry Sumner Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Oh...and yes...I'd like to see your inspiration return for this also!

Jantrix Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Very cool. I have seen the Revell deuce built a lot of ways but I don't think I've seen a gasser/altered yet. Bring it on!
