kingiguana Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Sweet ! Great work !!! Kinda makes me think its a cousin to the American Graffitti Impala !
Harold Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 This is a knockout. I've always thought the Alexander Brothers were great. A fitting tribute.
george 53 Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 OUTSTANDING job, Joker!!! i KNOW Larry woulda LOVED it!!!!
Starliner Kustoms Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Wow! I have been watching this for awhile. This looks great! Awesome job!
Joker Posted July 4, 2012 Author Posted July 4, 2012 (edited) Thanks Y'all... I appreciated it Edited July 4, 2012 by Joker
62rebel Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 AMT scattered the necessary custom parts to do this (well; almost) over several kits.... and then never explained WHAT they were supposed to represent. you've captured every nuance of the Victorian IMHO.... very nice build. excellent...
cruz Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 This is awesome my friend, the color in conjunction with the scallops looks awesome, great stance too!!!
JasonFL Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 James, you do some killer old school customs. Love all the details on this tribute, especially the interior. I'm a big fan of your knuckle shifters but I'm glad you changed it up, it really made the interior. Nice work
Joker Posted July 4, 2012 Author Posted July 4, 2012 Thanks again.. Have a safe holiday celebrating Americas Birthday !
Jantrix Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Wow. That looks wonderfully authentic. Easily the best '56 I've seen built up. I have a can of that paint and you've given me something to look forward to when I paint my '49.
Joker Posted July 6, 2012 Author Posted July 6, 2012 I love it James and I'm surprised no one commented on that kick butt stereo record player, that's quite a unique display there to go with the Vicky.Keep up the great building. Thanks..the record player came out of the 63 Impala. Built the display table out of styrene and color matched the AMT "Rock-ola" James aka Joker
