That looks like a modded belly tanker for the Salt Flats. Probably was driveable or could be in a straight line for the 5 mile run up and back at Bonneville. Looks like it could win some time records with the right powertrain.

Bugatti "Bullet"? Wowzers. It looks like a fusion or the nose from a Concorde, the glass from a Bell X-1, and the air-scoops from a Saab Draken. Thanks for posting. Adios, Larry.

Its loosely based around a Bell X-1 from the forties so it's hardly a 30's design! Total fabrication. Yeah it's pretty but real things look better to me.
