mopar_guy1 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Great detailing job. Event to the fuel and brake lines. From seeing that, i think i'm gonna start adding brake lines to. lol Looks MUCH better that painted raised lines. Good job.
Grumpa Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Great looking stock '57! Love the attention to detail in the engine bay!
Gluhead Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I could care less about why the large type, but I am curious about why the colors are stated as beige and gold. Either way, it's a real beauty.
crazyrichard Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 nice job ! liking it the hudge letters are a bit distracting though
SteveG Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I could care less about why the large type, but I am curious about why the colors are stated as beige and gold. Either way, it's a real beauty. Sierra Gold is a Dark Copper color, the photos probably make it look more red than it really is. Like you said it's very well done ! -Steve
RT6PK Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 The underside looks great. How did you get the "weathered" effect?
70mach1 Posted October 15, 2012 Author Posted October 15, 2012 The underside looks great. How did you get the "weathered" effect? I used a flat dark gray enamel over reduced wash applied several times till I got the look I was after.
