Revell kit. Refinished in BASF lacquers (Adobe Beige over Sierra Gold). Wired and plumbed, scratch built battery hold down, ballast resistor, fuel bowl filter, parking brake cable, fuel lines.

Great detailing job. Event to the fuel and brake lines. From seeing that, i think i'm gonna start adding brake lines to. lol Looks MUCH better that painted raised lines.

I could care less about why the large type, but I am curious about why the colors are stated as beige and gold. Either way, it's a real beauty.

Sierra Gold is a Dark Copper color, the photos probably make it look more red than it really is. Like you said it's very well done !

The underside looks great. How did you get the "weathered" effect?

I used a flat dark gray enamel over reduced wash applied several times till I got the look I was after.
