Draggon Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Ive got the crossbars, the chromes, and the soverigns. Bernard Kron found out that the chromes also come in "bigs and littles", 15" rears and 14" fronts. I found out that the soverigns have the small tires. The same size chromes look better using the littles on the front, and the soverigns look better with the bigger tires. Still dont know the part numbers for the "bigs and littles" or the crossbars with wide whites.
Blown03SVT Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 New tire set from Pegesas. STA70702.JPG STA70705.JPG Are these only available on evilbay? I went to Pegasus Hobby's web site and none of the new styles are listed.
Greg Myers Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 My question too. Where can you get em ? Went to local Hobby shop and he said the distributor hasn't gotten any yet. No Sovereigns
Dave Van Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 LOVE Pegasus stuff.....I buy most of their stuff....Sci Fi, Gothic wheels.....but they are slower than molasses at the North Pole!!!!
Rob Hall Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I've bought the new Pegasus wheels (5-spoke and chrome reverse) from Model Roundup.
Draggon Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I got all mine from PSF Hobbies on ebay. But the real question is what is the part number for the big and little chrome reverse?
my80malibu Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 My question too. Where can you get em ? Went to local Hobby shop and he said the dgreistributor hasn't gotten any yet.Greg I found some at hobby depot in tempe
kitswapper Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Anyone notice on the 5 spokes mag wheels they didn't make narrower ones for front wheels, just asking.... great for a lowrider but not for a street rod.. or Gasser
DumpyDan Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Got mine a couple weeks ago, really happy with the way they look. Thanks again Steve for picking them up!
Daddyfink Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 I think this line of wheels is more intended for the Custom Car/ Lowrider Crowd. The Astro style wheels are really nice. I picked mine up at Pegasus!

I picked mine up at Pegasus! Yes, the Astro style ones would look good on a lowered Revell '59 or '60 Chevy or AMT '60 Starliner, I think...full size cars of that era...
Greg Myers Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 (edited) Just got back from Tucson and their great hobby shop at ACE Hardware across from my alma mater Palo Verde High School (class of '65). Picked up some Pegasus wheel sets, WOW! those are great. Got the Chromed Reverse rims and the Supremes. Had to go back for more. Tires were ok too. Edited November 29, 2013 by Greg Myers
slusher Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Those look great Greg, I plan on picking up a set of those chrome reverse.
JamesW Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I got 4 sets of the reverse. Don't like the tires though, replaced those with the 5.20's.
Dr. Cranky Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I for one love these wheels. Excellent for most builds.
Erik Smith Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Do you have a photo of the 5.20s James? The thin whitewall tires look nice on the Sovereigns. But, I think the chrome reverse wheels and four bars will look better with a wide white wall IMO. I've got a few WWWs from different Revell kits that I want to try on the wheels I have coming. Pegasus makes them with wide whites as well.

These are the 520 tires, whitewall is the same, they just have a smaller sidewall. Edited November 30, 2013 by JamesW
Funkster Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 You can sign me up for a couple of sets. All of the after market ones are 19(hate the look) and I don't like the looks. I build mostly customs rods and stock, why can't we have more of these type of wheel for our type of builds. Old style chrome reverse rims, mag wheels(14" & 15") from the 50's 60's and 70's.. Hope the after market listens to this
Greg Cullinan Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I have the soverigns and chrome reverse. My biggest complaint is I only bought one set of each and no cross bars. Have to get to stocking up. Model roundup has em.
dodgefever Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 I don't get the fuss over these. They're oversize for 1/25, the hubs and bolt detail look toy-like and the offset on the 5 spokes is huge. I bought some of each and offloaded them as soon as I could.
Elliot949 Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 I like the Wheels for these but the Tires are junk... they are fine if you eliminate the Poor excuse for whitewalls... I could have freehanded the whitewalls better than the ones that are on them and I can't paint a straight line...
Joe Handley Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 I've got a set of each on hold at work, I really like the wheels, can't complain on the tires either, they'll look good on any late 50's/early 60's kustoms and lowriders.
